How to care your painting
Your Painting is fragile and the best way to keep it clean is to dust it with a light brush. Do not clean it with a moist rag or any cleaning products. It is also best not touch the artwork’s surface with your fingers as the acid and oils from your fingers greatly affect the longevity of the painting.
If you ordered a textured painting, the paint will be brittle so be careful not to touch the artwork’s surface or lean against it.
When handling the painting it is best to hold by the hanger itself or by the mounting surface or frame.
When moving your paintings around, hold them by their edges and store them vertically against something so that the back of the artwork takes the weight, with the bottom of the artwork rested on a towel or folded sheet to prevent damage or chipping to the mount, frame or painting surface in the event it is an unframed piece. |
